Yosemite

Yosemite

There's a moment when you drive into Yosemite Valley.

The granite walls rise around you — El Capitan on one side, Cathedral Rocks on the other — and you stop thinking about code. You stop thinking about deadlines. You just look up.

I made this trip during working at Postman, this was the last trip I made before moving back to India. After months of working on something that didn't fit in a terminal window. Yosemite delivered.

The valley has this quality of light in late afternoon that photographers chase. Everything turns gold. The granite catches it and glows.

The sunset view was a complete accident, saw it on our way back to the SF airport and had to stop for the pictures. Truly something out of a movie.

These photos are from that trip - these hit a little different being the last trip with friends in USA.
